After more than ten years since the release of Hill Street Blues 2, and thirteen years since the first Hill Street Blues, the urge to come back to SF for more swerving and cruising with friends got our international band back together. We were warmly welcomed by our dear Bay Area connection, and by a beautiful golden light that made the city’s painted avenues even more enjoyable. This time, some heavy Japanese forces joined in: Magenta’s new pro Shogo Zama and Kohei Hayashi, who shot the photos in the booklet we made to go along the video. To our delight, OGs such as Carlos Young, who we hadn’t seen in years, showed up ready to share the ride.

Skating SF is no joke, and even though we have been traveling there regularly for the past 15 years, we always have to re-adapt to its gnarly terrain when our wheels touch again the hills and woops of the 48 blocks that make up San Fzrancisco. The speed and freedom of exploring the avenues can’t compare to anything else, and doing it with friends really is what makes it so special.

Big up to all the OGs for the inspiration, all the people we bombed hills with; Zach, Feugz, Logan and Ben for filming, and Kohei for taking photos. We hope that you will enjoy the third opus of the Hill street blues series as much as we enjoyed creating it, while building new memories in the classic hills of the city.
